If you’re hiring contractors or professionals to handle your project, you don’t need to add skills or insurance to your profile. Instead, general insurance documents should be uploaded to the document library for safekeeping.
However, if you’re a contractor or tradesperson working on the project yourself, it’s important to add your skills and insurance information in your
Profile Settings. This ensures you meet project requirements and stay organised.
1. Open Your Profile
If you are a mobile user : From the dashboard screen, locate the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen, you'll see an icon labeled "More", represented by three horizontal lines. Tap this icon to expand more menu options. After the menu expands, tap on the Build Buddy User section at the top (next to your profile picture).
If you are a laptop or tablet user : From the dashboard, click on the profile icon in the top-right corner to access your account.
2. Scroll to the Skills Section
Once in the profile, scroll down until you see the Insurance section. It should say "List your Skills here."
3. Add Your Skills
Tap the "Add Skill" or "Add Now" button. This will open a form where you can select :
4. Save Your Skills
After entering your skills, tap ''Confirm'' to add them to your profile. Your newly added skills will now be listed in the Skills section.

Tap the "Add lnsurance" or "Add Now" button. This will open a form where you can select :

After entering your insurance, tap ''Confirm'' to add them to your profile. Your newly added insurances will now be listed in the section!
