How to create your account

How to sign up

1. Download the App
   Get the Build Buddy app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
2. Open the App
   Once downloaded, open the app. You'll be prompted to either log in or sign up.
3. Enter Your Email
   Type in your email address and click the orange “Continue” button.
4. Create a Password
   Set up a password and click "Continue."
5. Enter Your Details
   Fill in your first and last name, and mobile number. You'll also need to agree to the Terms and Conditions by checking the box before clicking “Next.”
6. Verify Your Email
   Check your inbox for a verification email. Follow the instructions to verify your account (don’t forget to check the spam folder!). After verifying, return to the app.

How to log in

1.      Open the Build Buddy app or login on any web browser here: https://app.buildbuddy.au/login

2.     If you already have an account with us, enter the email and password you used to sign up.

3.     Click "Log In," and you’re ready to go!

I forgot my password

If you’ve forgotten your password, simply click on the "Forgot Password" link located below the password field. This will start the password recovery process. You’ll be redirected to a page where you'll need to confirm your email address.

Next, check your inbox for an email from Build Buddy (be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it right away). Open the email and click the provided link to be redirected to a secure page, where you can set a new password for your account.

Your new password must include:

• At least 8 characters
• Both lower- and upper-case letters
• At least 1 number
• A special character (e.g., @, #, $, %, ^)

Once you’ve entered and confirmed your new password, click "Save." Your password will be successfully updated, and you can now log in with your new credentials.

How to verify my account

1.      After signing up, check your email for a verification message.

2.     Click the link in the email to verify your account (make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it).

3.     Once verified, return to the Build Buddy app and continue setting up your project.

I can't find the confirmation email

1.      Check your spam or junk folder, as the email may have been filtered.

2.     Still can’t find it? You can resend the confirmation email by clicking "Resend" on the sign-up page.
