How to setup your Digital Wallet

Your digital wallet is a reflection of your bank account, where you can allocate and release payments as you wish. This can be whatever bank account you wish to link, as long as it is compatible with PayTo. The Build Buddy platform itself does not hold any funds or perform any transactions on your behalf.


Before you setup your digital wallet, we recommend that you check with your bank if you are unsure if your bank account works with PayTo. The digital wallet let's you see:


  • Wallet Balance: Reflects the total amount being transacted
  • Pending Funds (if applicable): How much is currently in the process of being released
  • Allocated Funds: Funds that have been allocated to a PRO, but has not been released


Steps for setup

You can setup your digital wallet once your "Onboarding Meeting" task has been marked complete. The prompt or task will appear for setting up your digital wallet.


This is how you can setup your wallet:

  1. Once you have completed your "Onboarding Meeting" task, a series of notification tiles will populate on your dashboard. One being "Create Wallet".
  2. Click on the "Create Wallet" button.
  3. A window will pop-up, click the "Create Wallet" button.
  4. Another window will pop-up, click the "Got it!" button.
  5. You will then need to add in your bank account details.
  6. Click "Save" once completed.
  7. Your digital wallet is now set up.


You can view your digital wallet on your dashboard or by clicking your profile picture in the top right-hand corner.
